Nicolas Alcala was invited to give the keynote lecture at Stanford’s Evolgenome seminar series for the 10-year anniversary of Stanford’s Center for Evolutionary and Human Genomics (CEHG). He focused on the team’s work on quantifying tumor evolutionary forces using organoid experimental models and on identifying tumor ecological strategies from multi-omic data.
