We are thrilled to welcome Lipika Lipika and Mirian Gutiérrez Núñez.

Lipika is a PhD student in Bioinformatics from Brcic’s research team in Medizinische Universität Graz, Austria. She is visiting the team for two months to work on multi-omics molecular characterization of Malignant Peritoneal Mesothelioma and single cell transcriptomic analysis of Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma.

Mirian Gutiérrez Núñez is a PhD student in Health Sciences from the Biochemistry Research Laboratory in the Public University of Navarre. She is visiting the team for three months and will be working with Alexandra Sexton Oates on examining differential gene expression patterns in the different subtypes of pulmonary carcinoids and the emerging supra-carcinoid entity.18
