This August the RCG team headed to Vienna to present the LungNENomics and MESOMICS projects at the World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC).
Nicolas Alcala gave talks on the evolution of lung neuroendocrine tumours (LNETs), and understanding inter-patient heterogeneity in malignant pleural mesothelioma, whilst Alexandra Sexton-Oates and Emilie Matthian presented their work on multi-omic characterisation and artificial intelligence in improving LNET classification, respectively.
Alexandra also gave an educational seminar on the current status of molecular classification and biomarkers in LNETs.
Lastly, Emilie and Nicolas were presented with Early Career Education Awards, taking home two of just ten awards this year!
All in all the RCG team had a great experience at the 2022 WCLC.
